Shiseido is a renowned Japanese multinational corporation specializing in skincare, cosmetics, hair care, and fragrance products. Its history traces back to 1872 when Arinobu Fukuhara, a former head pharmacist to the Japanese Imperial Navy, opened Japan's first Western-style pharmacy in Tokyo's Ginza district. Originally named the "Shiseido Pharmacy," the establishment offered Western-style medicine alongside traditional Japanese remedies. Now Shiseido is the parent company of iconic products ranging from skincare, makeup, fragrances and beauty accessories. The brands Shiseido house include Anessa, Fino, etc.
